As you all know, we have been following The STR Fellowship of Santa Fe County and the short term rental lawsuit against Santa Fe County.
This lawsuit is proving to be more important and potentially more impactful, than we originally understood it to be.
People, we've all gotta get involved.
What is happening in Santa Fe County is hurting all property owners, realtors, investors, developers, and jobs in our community.
In case you don't know who The STR Fellowship of Santa Fe County is, check out their GoFundMe page here: STR Fellowship SFC GoFundMe.
This is a tough group of property owners who have come together to fight for their property rights and by extension the rights of all property owners in Santa Fe.
Did you attend their lawsuit update on January 10th?
If you didn't, you missed out on valuable information.
We're doing our best to keep tabs on their activities and to support them as best we can.
They had a standing room only turn out!
You can watch the event here.
(The recording is a little rough but the substance is more important. We'll work with them on future videos.)
Given their limited operating expenses (all operation costs are paid by their volunteers), they've asked us to post some valuable information from the January 10th Event.
Be sure to read their attorney's motion for injunctive relief. Mr. Domas may not be the best public speaker but he sure knows how to write a brief.
We'll do our best to keep you updated....so you do your best and donate to this cause, for Pete's sake.
Actually donate for your sake and our community's sake.
We think this lawsuit is likely the most important legal action taken to protect individual property rights in New Mexico in a generation.
This isn't just about short term rentals. It's about fundamental property rights.
