The STR Fellowship of Santa Fe County is a true grassroots organization comprised of STR owners like you across Santa Fe County and the City of Santa Fe who are working tirelessly to protect the rights of all STR owners and property owners throughout the Santa Fe area and by extension, the entirety of New Mexico.
We initially came together in 2022 to advocate for reasonable regulation which evolved into having to fight the unjust, unconstitutional STR ordinance passed by the Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners (BCC).
Hundreds City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County STR owners have joined together, as the attacks on STR owners' rights have escalated into the Tax Assessor's Property Tax Reclassification and the February 2024 proposed Senate Bill 207 that seeks to forever enshrine STRs as "commerical in use".
STR owners, like us, like you - have come together to support the plaintiffs who filed a Federal Lawsuit against Santa Fe County - challenaging it's unlawful and unconstituional ordinance.
A favorable outcome of this lawsuit will protect the rights of all STR and property owners in the State of New Mexico.
This is the single most important property rights litigation in New Mexico, in a generation.
We are the group who has taken significant action to protect the rights of short term rental owners.
What once was just about Santa Fe is now about the rights of all New Mexico STR Owners.
